Four new Lotus Elise Classic Heritage Edition cars pay homage to a storied racing history.

Lotus is a name that has a very rich history when it comes to racing and some of the biggest accomplishments in Formula 1 have the name Lotus etched all over them. These Classic Heritage Edition cars are a nice callback to the rich racing legacy of Lotus.

 

Simple Pricing And Some Cool Optional Extras

The Lotus Elise Classic Heritage Edition cars will come in the following four colour combinations each commemorating a momentous part of Lotus’ history as highlighted below.

Black and gold: Inspired by Lotus Type 72D in which Emerson Fittipaldi won five races in the 1972 Formula 1 season.

Red, white and gold: Inspired by Lotus Type 49B driven by Graham Hill in 1968.

Blue, red and Silver: Inspired by Lotus Type 81 of 1980 driven by Nigel Mansell, Elio de Angelis and Mario Andretti.

Blue and white: Inspired by Lotus Type 18 design from 1960, the car in which the late Sir Stirling Moss achieved Lotus’ first Formula 1 pole position and victory.

All these cars are priced at £46,250 and things like fibreglass hardtop roof, lightweight lithium-ion battery and titanium lightweight exhaust are optional extras.
