‘’We kept pushing the design until we knew we had it exactly right’’

The A-class is recognised for its youthful and dynamic character as well as its modern and comfortable qualities, according to Daniele Turriziani, test-driver for Bridgestone EMEA. Danielle was actively involved in the engineering process of the Turanza T005, and he reassured all car enthusiasts that Bridgestone’s top priority was to enhance and bring out all those qualities by tailoring the Turanza T005 to the A-Class.

According to the test-driver the focus of the company was on providing a sturdy wet grip and of course a comfortable and memorable riding experience. The latest tread compounds were specifically fine-tuned to fit the plans and designs of the Mercedes A-Class. The engineers at Bridgestone European Technical Centre have been hard at work testing, adjusting and re-testing the tyres that are rumoured to deliver best-in-class label performances for the Run-Flat Technology tyres. ‘’We kept pushing the design until we knew we had it exactly right’’ explained Turriziani.
