And with the new AeroSeven Concept, the little Caterham now has the looks to have ‘Atom’ and ‘Mono’ owners thinking twice as well!
Based around the Seven CSR platform, the AeroSeven will hit 60mph in under 4 seconds, with 237bhp beinfg delivered by a normally aspirated engine developed by Caterham Technology & Innovation, which was recently introduced to the Seven 485. The technology is not just limited to the inside, the outside aerodynamic tweaks take it’s ques directly from specialist F1 engineers and give a huge indication to what we can expect from future Caterham styling.
The future looks bright for Caterham, with alround business mogul Tony Fernandes at the helm, a popular return to F1 and future road-going collaborations with Lotus in the offing, it certainly looks like there will be good times ahead for the small scale manufacturer. Expect to see the AeroSeven on the roads in late 2014…
