It is a natural human endeavour to make things better especially when it comes to something that has a near-universal appeal and cars are no different. While car manufacturers are doing their best to make cars better, there exists a strong contingent that loves to do things on their own by tuning up their cars. This passion has probably existed for as long as cars have existed and tuned cars are an important part of modern pop culture. As such, it comes as no surprise that there are car shows centred around the concept of tuning and ‘The Performance & Tuning Car Show 2020‘ happens to be one of the most anticipated. What is even better about this four-day event is that this car show is searching for the top tuned car so that it can be the centre of attraction of the show.
Car tuning has come a long way. It started off as a way for street racers to extract more performance from regular cars without needing mountains of cash and has slowly evolved into an art form that is very much a part of our existence now. The main aim of this car show is to provide a platform for the top tuners to showcase their work and gain some recognition in what is being dubbed as the ‘Revving Red Carpet’.
The first part of the selection process has already started with the announcement of the panel of tuning experts on the 1st of October, 2019. Car enthusiasts will have to submit the details of their work and this panel will choose twenty of the very best. Once that is done, it will be up to the general public to vote and choose the winner.
To win is a big deal as the tuned car will not only be showcased for all four days of show but the winner will also get VIP tickets to the show with luxurious overnight hotel stay and meals.
If you are a tuning expert and would like to participate then fill out the form at https://www.autosportinternational.com/features/revving-red-carpet with details and images of your work by 31 October 2019.
Even if you do not have a tuned car to compete with, you can still be a part of the show. The tickets for children (5-16) cost £19 and £31 for adults. The ticket not only provides access to the Performance & Tuning Car Show 2020 but is also valid for the Autosport International and the Live Action Arena, which take place at the same time.
A family standard ticket costs £84 that includes an entry for two adults and two children. Keep in mind that the family standard ticket is only valid for the Sunday and the Live Action Arena at 10 am. Paddock tickets are priced at £41 for adults and £29 for children. These allow access to the show and ticket holders will also have padded seats in the Live Action Arena with access to the backstage paddock area in the Live Action Arena and a paddock guide.
If you want to kick things up a notch for the ultimate show experience then the VIP tickets priced at £113 is what you need. These tickets come with all the perks of the paddock ticket as well as access to the VIP Club Lounge, the VIP enclosure in the Live Action Arena, with complimentary refreshments, access to exclusive driver signing sessions in the VIP Lounge and a gift bag.
