Skoda Targets Fleet Companies With SE Models

Skodas have always been a hit with the fleet market because of how well suited they are to this segment. Skodas are generally well-equipped, quite practical and above all, offer excellent value for money. Skoda has decided to further tap into this market with their newly-launched Octavia SE Technology models.

Feature-Rich Even In Standard Trims

The SE range will come with two engine options. One will be a 1.5 TSI petrol engine that will churn out 150PS of power while the other will be a 2.0 TDI diesel engine capable of producing 115PS of power.

Both will feature a 6-speed manual gearbox. The biggest USP of the SE Technology range is the list of equipment that comes as standard. These include things such as 16-inch Twister AERO alloy wheels, LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, two-spoke leather, multi-function steering wheel, voice control and front and rear parking sensors with manoeuvre assist.

These models will also include Skoda’s renowned Columbus infotainment system with a 10-inch touchscreen display. A plethora of connectivity options including a built-in eSIM feature will make them great for business users as well.

Tailor-made For Fleets

The group of Simply Clever features are meant to be particularly appealing for fleet customers and companies. The AdBlue feature allows it to be filled up using a lorry pump nozzle. Additionally, two smartphone storage pockets on the front seat backs, multifunctional storage pocket below the boot cover, Front Assist, Lane Assist and up to nine airbags, including a driver knee airbag and rear side airbags, and a segment-leading boot capacity of 640 litres all come as standard.

There are plenty of optional features as well that will allow customers to customize these cars perfectly suited to the needs of their fleets. The icing on the top is the price which starts at £22,410 and keeps the Skoda tradition of excellent value for money alive.
